“Soon” is a psychological thriller; a story of heroes, monsters and the people who become victims. A young child, David, loses his parents in an automobile accident. He is placed in an orphanage but due to his unusual appearance is rejected by all prospective parents except for one. This couple is not looking for a boy to love but rather to torture and abuse. David, after years of cruelty, finds release in inflicting pain on others. He has become a monster. The boy stays alive inside Dave but it is the monster he has become that is in control.
The favbric of "Slingshot" is woven with the threads of today's issues:
Terrorism, Global polution Economic chaos,Inept governments, Dwindling resources
However, as with life, it's a tale of romance, adventure and fortitude of those colonists marooned on an alien world. A life drama set in the future but with ramifications for today.
